Automatic Gearbox Servicing – Bournemouth

For motorists from across Dorset and the south coast, The Gearbox Centre Dorset in Bournemouth offers comprehensive automatic gearbox servicing to maintain correct operation and prevent premature transmission damage.

Automatic gearboxes generate extreme heat, which gradually contaminates transmission fluid and reduces hydraulic efficiency.  When fluid quality deteriorates, symptoms such as sluggish shifting, harsh engagement, vibration, and overheating often follow. Our servicing process removes degraded oil, introduces the correct specification replacement fluid, and refreshes the filtration system where applicable.

Beyond fluid changes, we check for software irregularities, pressure inconsistencies, electronic control issues, and early mechanical wear.  By addressing these factors together, we help extend transmission lifespan and maintain accurate gear selection for drivers from across Dorset.
